The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all between them, and Lord of every point at the rising of the sun! 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 (So) they should not strain their ears in the direction of the Exalted Assembly but be cast away from every side, 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
