The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 and conveying [to all the world] a reminder: 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side, 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.” 20 [And they will be told:] "This is the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false - the Day] which you were wont to call a lie!" 21
