The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages] ranged in serried ranks, 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 You marvel (at the wondrous creations of Allah) and they scoff at it, 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 along with our forefathers?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 [They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
