Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything between them; Lord of the Easts. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 cast out [from all grace,] with lasting suffering in store for them [in the life to come]; 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 When they are shown a sign, they scoff at it 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
