The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 and conveying [to all the world] a reminder: 3 that your Lord is the only Lord. 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 We have adorned the lowest heaven with the beauty of the planets; 6 And as protection against every rebellious devil 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 And our fathers too?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21
