The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 Aye! thou marvellest, and they scoff. 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
