The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 and by the reciters of the Reminder: 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, and the Sustainer of all the points of sunrise! 5 He decked the nearest heavens with ornaments of stars, 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), “Are they a stronger creation, or are other things of our creation, (the angels, the heavens etc.)?” We have indeed created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
