The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the rangers ranging 1 and the drivers driving, 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Some of them who stealthily steal words from the heavens are pursued by a glistening flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 And they do not understand, when explained to. 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
