The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 [so that] they [who seek to learn the unknowable] should not be able to overhear the host on high, but shall be repelled from all sides, 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Are they a stronger creation, or are other things of our creation, (the angels, the heavens etc.)?” We have indeed created them from sticky clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 And when they see a sign they incite one another to scoff, 14 And they say: This is nothing but clear magic: 15 "What! When we have died and become dust and bones, will we be brought back to life again, 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
