The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the angels ranged in ranks. 1 And those who drive away (the wicked) with reproof 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, and the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 The Day of Judgment will come within a single roar and they will remain gazing at it. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 This is the day of the judgment which you called a lie. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
