The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Lo! thy Lord is surely One; 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 and have protected it from every rebellious satan. 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 Except him who snatches off but once, then there follows him a brightly shining flame. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And when they behold a sign, they turn to scoffing. 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 and perhaps also our forebears of old?" 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 There will be a single stern rebuff and lo, they will be observing with their own eyes (all that they had been warned against). 19 And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
