The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 Nay, but thou dost marvel when they mock 12 And when they are reminded, they remember not. 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital. 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
