In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 and those who drive away [the wicked] with reproof 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 they listen not to the High Council, for they are pelted from every side, 8 Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment, 9 but if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge,] he is [henceforth] pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So, ask those who deny the truth if it was harder to create them than all the other things We have created? We created them from sticky clay. 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 And they say: "This is nothing but evident magic! 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say: Aye! and you shall be abject. 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 This is the Day of Decision which you belied. 21

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
