The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
182 verses, revealed in Mecca after Animals (Al-An 'aam) before Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 by those who reprove severely, 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 and are repelled. Theirs is an unceasing chastisement. 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 So ask them if they are more difficult to create, or the rest We have created? Indeed (man) We created from fermented clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And they say: Lo! this is mere magic; 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 So it shall only be a single cry, when lo! they shall see. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
