The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 And by oath of those who herd with a stern warning. 2 And those who recite the Reminder, 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth, and of what between them is Lord of the Easts. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 Outcast, and theirs is a perpetual torment; 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 When they are reminded, they do not pay heed, 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 And also our forefathers? 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21
