The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the planets, 6 And (there is) a safeguard against every rebellious Shaitan. 7 they cannot overhear the Higher Assembly for they are pelted from every side, 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except him who snatcheth away a word by stealth, and him then pursueth a glowing flame. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be raised up? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say thou: "Yea, and ye shall then be humiliated (on account of your evil)." 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!" 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21
