The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 And those who restrain by reprimanding, 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 and to preserve against every rebel Satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 “When we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, will we certainly be raised again?” 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!" 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
