The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who range themselves in rows; 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 And by oath of the groups that read the Qur’an. 3 Verily your God is One, 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of whatever lies between the two, the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 Then ask them whether they are stronger in creation or those (others) whom We have created. Surely We created them of firm clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 And, when they are admonished, pay no heed,- 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense". 20 “This is the Day of Judgement, which you used to deny!” 21
