The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
By those [angels] lined up in rows 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 and conveying [to all the world] a reminder: 3 your God is One, 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Then inquire of them, [O Muhammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created men from sticky clay. 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 it and say, "It is only plain magic". 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 Or our fathers of yore? 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 There will only be a single jerk, and they will gape, 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
