The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the aligners (angels) aligning. 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 and those who recite the Exhortation; 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 But if anyone does succeed in snatching a glimpse [of such knowledge], he shall be pursued by a piercing flame. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 Nay, but whereas thou dost marvel, they [only] scoff; 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 And when they see a sign, they ridicule 14 and say: “This is nothing but plain sorcery. 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 You say: "Yes; and you will be lowly made." 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment. 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
