۞ Gather together those who did wrong and their comrades and that which they were wont to worship 22 Besides Allah, then lead them to the way to hell. 23 Stop them. They must be questioned." 24 They will be asked, "Why do you not help each other?" 25 In fact, on that day they will be submissive. 26 and approach each other with questions, 27 They will say, "You used to come at us from the right." 28 The oppressors will say, "Rather, you [yourselves] were not believers, 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 "So now has been proved true, against us, the word of our Lord that we shall indeed (have to) taste (the punishment of our sins). 31 We seduced you astray; verily we were ourselves the seduced ones. 32 Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 for when it was said to them, 'There is no god but God,' they were ever waxing proud, 35 And to say: What! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet? 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 although you shall not be requited for aught but what you were wont to do. 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 For them awaits a known provision, 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 in gardens of bliss, 43 They will be seated upon couches set face to face; 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 Clear, delicious to drink, 46 but not harmful or intoxicating. 47 Theirs shall be wide-eyed maidens with bashful, restrained glances, 48 As if they were eggs, safely hidden. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 One of them will say, "I had a companion who asked me, 51 who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? 52 ‘That when we are dead and have turned into dust and bones, that we will either be rewarded or punished?’ 53 He said (to others on the thrones), “Will you take a glimpse (into hell) below?” 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He will say to him: -- By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]. 57 (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)? 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 This will indeed be great happiness. 60 for which one must strive hard. 61 Is this better or the tree of Zaqqum 62 We have indeed made that a punishment for the unjust. 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 and its fruits are like the heads of devils. 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 They found their father going astray 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 Before them erred most of the ancients, 71 And certainly We sent among them warners. 72 and behold, how was the end of them that were warned, 73 EXCEPT for God's true servants, [most people are apt to go astray.] 74

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
