۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell; 23 And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." 24 What is the matter with you that you do not help each other? 25 Nay, but that day they shall submit (to Judgment); 26 They will turn upon one another, and question one another. 27 They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right." 28 [To which] the others will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were bereft of all faith! 29 We had no authority over you, but you were an insolent nation. 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 And we led you to deviation; indeed, we were deviators." 32 Therefore, on that Day they will all share Our punishment. 33 Indeed, that is how We deal with the criminals. 34 for when it was said to them, 'There is no god but God,' they were ever waxing proud, 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 'No indeed; but he brought the truth, and confirmed the Envoys. 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 Not so, however, God's true servants: 40 For them awaits a known provision, 41 Fruits of every kind, and they will be honoured 42 in gardens of bliss, 43 Facing each other on Thrones (of Dignity): 44 a cup from a spring being passed round to them, 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 Like sheltered eggs in a nest. 49 Then they will advance unto each other, mutually questioning. 50 A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] 51 “Who used to tell me, ‘Do you believe it is true?’ 52 Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones - can we (then) verily be brought to book? 53 He said: 'Will you look down?' 54 Then he will look and see him in the midst of the Fire. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 But for Allah's favour, I should be one of those who have been mustered here. 57 (Allah informs about that true believer that he said): "Are we then not to die (any more)? 58 "Except our first death, and that we shall not be punished?" 59 “This is, most certainly, the supreme success.” 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is such [a paradise] the better welcome - or the [hellish] tree of deadly fruit? 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 It is a tree that comes forth in the root of Hell; 64 its spathes are like the heads of satans 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 then their return is to Hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 So they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps! 70 Before them erred most of the ancients, 71 And indeed We had sent Heralds of warnings among them. 72 See then the end of those who were warned, 73 Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah. 74
