۞ Gather together those who did wrong and their comrades and that which they were wont to worship 22 besides God, and show them the way of hell. 23 and halt them [there]!" [And then,] behold, they shall be asked, 24 "'What is the matter with you that ye help not each other?'" 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 And some of them will confront the others, 27 They will say: "It was ye who used to come to us from the right hand (of power and authority)!" 28 Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith. 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 So our Lord's Word is realised against us; we are tasting it. 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 As such We shall deal with the evildoers. 34 for when it was said to them, 'There is no god but God,' they were ever waxing proud, 35 And to say: What! shall we indeed give up our gods for the sake of a mad poet? 36 Aye! he hath come with the truth, and he confesseth to the sent ones. 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah,- 40 will have their determined sustenance 41 a variety of delicious fruits; and they shall be honoured 42 in the Gardens of Bliss 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 A cup will be passed round among them [with a drink] from unsullied springs, 45 White, delicious to those who drink. 46 There will neither be any harm in it for their body nor will it intoxicate their mind. 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved. 49 They will turn to one another with questions: 50 one of them will say, "I had a friend, 51 Who used to say: Art thou in truth of those who put faith (in his words)? 52 (Do you think) we would be paid back our due when we are dead and reduced to dust and bones?' 53 He said (to others on the thrones), “Will you take a glimpse (into hell) below?” 54 He looked down and saw (his friend) in the midst of Hell. 55 He said, “By Allah, you had nearly ruined me!” 56 But for the Favor of Allah I should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in Hell). 57 He will ask his companion, "Did you not say that there would only be one death 58 [again,] beyond our previous death, and that we shall never [again] be made to suffer? 59 Truly, this is the supreme success! 60 For the like of it should the workers work. 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 Surely We have made it to be a trial to the unjust. 63 It is a tree that grows in the nethermost part of Hell. 64 Its produce is as it were the heads of the serpents. 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 And afterward, lo! thereupon they have a drink of boiling water 67 Then most surely their return shall be to hell. 68 Verily, they found their fathers on the wrong path; 69 So they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps! 70 Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them, 71 But We sent aforetime, among them, (messengers) to admonish them;- 72 See how terrible was the end of those who were warned. 73 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
