۞ But We shall say, "Assemble those who did wrong together with their associates and what they worshipped 22 Instead of Allah, and lead them to the path to hell; 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 How is it that you are not helping one another? 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning. 27 saying: 'You used to come to us from the right hand' 28 But they reply: 'Rather, you were not believers. 29 We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk. 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 “We therefore led you astray, for we ourselves were astray!” 32 On that Day they will all share the punishment: 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 In fact he has brought the Truth, and testified for the Noble Messengers! 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 And you will be requited nothing except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allah's disobedience which you used to do in this world); 39 Except for God's sincere servants; 40 For them there is a known provision, 41 Fruits, and they shall be highly honored, 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 They will be served with a cup full of crystal clear wine, 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 There shall be no trouble in it, nor shall they be exhausted therewith. 47 And with them are those who do not set gaze upon men except their husbands, the maidens with gorgeous eyes. 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 One of them says, 'I had a comrade 51 who was wont to ask [me,] 'Why - art thou really one of those who believe it to be true 52 "'When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'" 53 He says, 'Are you looking down?' 54 So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 and says: "By God! Verily, thou hast almost destroyed me [too, O my erstwhile companion] 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 Then, are we not to die 58 “Except our earlier death, and nor will we be punished?” 59 Most surely this is the mighty achievement. 60 For such a reward should the workers perform. 61 Is that (Paradise) better entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum (a horrible tree in Hell)? 62 We have appointed it as a trial for the evildoers. 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 its fruit [as repulsive] as satans' heads; 65 And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. 66 Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. 67 then their return is unto Hell. 68 They indeed found their fathers astray, 69 and they run in their footsteps. 70 And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;- 71 And indeed We had sent Heralds of warnings among them. 72 Then see the nature of the consequence for those warned, 73 except for the chosen servants of Allah? 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
