۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." 24 "Why help you not one another?" 25 Nay, but that Day they shall surrender, 26 And some of them inclined towards others, mutually questioning. 27 They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right." 28 They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!” 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 But now our Sustainer's word has come true against us [as well]: verily, we are bound to taste [the fruit of our sins]. 31 Thus we misled you. Lo! we were (ourselves) astray. 32 Then lo! this day they (both) are sharers in the doom. 33 that is how We deal with evil-doers. 34 Indeed, when it was said to them, “There is no God except Allah”, they were haughty. 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 Not in the least. He has brought the truth and confirmed the other messengers. 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 Except the chosen creatures of God, 40 for them awaits a known provision, 41 fruits -- and they high-honoured 42 In gardens of pleasure 43 sitting face to face upon couches, 44 Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain, 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 causing no headiness or intoxication. 47 And with them will be maidens (houris) who restrain their wide glances 48 who are as chaste as sheltered eggs. 49 Then some of them will turn to others, and will ask each other. 50 One of them will say: “I had a companion in the world 51 Who said: What! are you indeed of those who accept (the truth)? 52 Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones - can we (then) verily be brought to book? 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire. 55 He says, 'By God, wellnigh thou didst destroy me; 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 (Another will say:)"Is it true, we are not going to die 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-Zaqqum? 62 Truly We have made it (as) a trail for the Zalimun (polytheists, disbelievers, wrong-doers, etc.). 63 It is a tree that grows in the nethermost part of Hell. 64 Its spathes are like the prickly pear. 65 So indeed they will eat from it, and fill their bellies with it. 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 Then indeed, their return will be to the Hellfire. 68 These are the ones who found their fathers steeped in error, 69 and [now] they make haste to follow in their footsteps! 70 Before them erred most of the ancients, 71 But We sent aforetime, among them, (messengers) to admonish them;- 72 Then see what was the end of those who were admonished (but heeded not),- 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. (5) وقف المجاذبة أو المعانقة حيث يجب الوقف في أي من موضعين قريبين ولكن ليس كلاهما، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة تظهر في أحد الموقعين باحتمال النصف للنصف.
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
