۞ Gather together the evildoers, their wives, and that they were worshipping, 22 "Besides Allah, and lead them to the Way to the (Fierce) Fire! 23 And detain them, for they will be questioned." 24 They will be asked, "Why do you not help each other?" 25 Indeed, today they are surrendering themselves completely.” 26 but [since it will be too late,] they will turn upon one another, demanding of each other [to relieve them of the burden of their past sins]. 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 They answer: Nay, but ye (yourselves) were not believers. 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 So on us hath been justified the sentence of our Lord: verily we are to taste. 31 "So we led you astray because we were ourselves astray." 32 Then lo! this day they (both) are sharers in the doom. 33 that is how We deal with evil-doers. 34 For they, when they were told that there is no god except Allah, would puff themselves up with Pride, 35 And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?" 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 And ye shall be required not except for that which ye have been doing; 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise). 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 A cup from a gushing spring is brought round for them, 45 white and delicious to those who drink it, 46 Neither does it intoxicate, nor give a headache. 47 And with them will be chaste females, restraining their glances (desiring none except their husbands), with wide and beautiful eyes. 48 As though they were eggs hidden. 49 Then they will turn to one another, mutually questioning. 50 Said one of the speakers: "I had a friend 51 Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe 52 Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones - can we (then) verily be brought to book? 53 (The man) said: "Will you look down?" 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me. 56 And had it not been for the favour of my Lord, I too had been of those haled forth (to doom). 57 Is it then that we are not going to die, 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 for the like of this let the workers work.' 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 for, behold, it is a tree that grows in the very heart of the blazing fire [of hell,] 64 its spathes are like the heads of satans 65 Then most surely they shall eat of it and fill (their) bellies with it. 66 Washing it down with boiling water. 67 Then most surely their return shall be to hell. 68 They had indeed found their forefathers astray. 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 Before them erred most of the ancients, 71 though We had sent warners among them. 72 Then see the nature of the consequence for those warned, 73 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 74

Notes and Instructions
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
