1/2 Hizb 45

۞ (Then will the command be given): “Muster all the wrong-doers and their spouses and the deities whom they used to serve 22 Other than God," (the angels will be told), "then show them the way to Hell, 23 "But stop them, for they must be asked: 24 "How is it that [now] you cannot succour one another?" 25 Nay! on that Day they will be entirely submissive. 26 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 27 They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth). 28 Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith. 29 Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance! 30 So the word of our Lord has come into effect upon us; indeed, we will taste [punishment]. 31 We mislead you and we ourselves had also gone astray." 32 Therefore, on that Day they will all share Our punishment. 33 Certainly, that is how We deal with Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, the disobedient to Allah, etc.). 34 Verily when it was said unto them: there is no god but Allah, they ever grew stiff-necked. 35 And said: "Should we abandon our gods for the sake of an insane poet?" 36 Nay: he has come with the truth and verified the apostles. 37 Most surely you will taste the painful punishment. 38 And you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do - 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 Fruits! And they shall be honoured. 42 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise), 43 on couches facing each other. 44 Round shall be passed a cup unto them filled with limpid drink: 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 and with them wide-eyed maidens restraining their glances 48 As if they were [delicate] eggs, well-protected. 49 And some of them draw near unto others, mutually questioning. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 "Who used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)? 52 After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?' 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then he looked down and saw him in the midst of hell. 55 He said: "By Allah! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition! 56 Had it not been for the grace of my Lord I too would have been there (in Hell). 57 Are we not then to die 58 except for our first death, and are we not chastised? 59 Indeed, this is the great attainment. 60 and for the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-Zaqqum? 62 Which We have reserved as punishment for evil-doers? 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 Its fruit like the heads of demons. 65 So indeed they will eat from it, and fill their bellies with it. 66 Then indeed, they will have after it a mixture of scalding water. 67 Then thereafter, verily, their return is to the flaming fire of Hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 so they are rushing to follow in their footsteps. 70 Before them a multitude of people of olden times had erred, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 and behold what happened in the end to those that had been warned [to no avail]! 73 Except the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
