۞ But We shall say, "Assemble those who did wrong together with their associates and what they worshipped 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 And halt them so that they may be questioned. 24 What aileth you that ye succour not one another? 25 Indeed, today they are surrendering themselves completely.” 26 And they will turn to one another, and question one another. 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 They will reply: "Nay, ye yourselves had no Faith! 29 "Nor had we any authority over you. Nay, it was ye who were a people in obstinate rebellion! 30 But now our Lord's word has come true against us: truly, we are bound to taste [the punishment]. 31 We led you astray as we were ourselves astray." 32 On that Day, they will all share the chastisement. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 For when it was said unto them, There is no Allah save Allah, they were scornful 35 And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon our aliha (gods) for the sake of a mad poet? 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 fruits. And they are receivers of generosity 42 in the Gardens of Bliss 43 They will be seated upon couches set face to face; 44 Round them will be passed a cup of pure wine; 45 White, delicious for the drinkers. 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 As if they were (delicate) eggs closely guarded. 49 They will turn to each other and ask questions. 50 A speaker from among them shall say: Surely I had a comrade of mine, 51 who used to ask, 'Do you really believe that 52 What, when we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we indeed be requited?" 53 He will say, "Would you [care to] look?" 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 'By Allah' he will say, 'you almost destroyed me! 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 But then, [O my friends in paradise,] is it [really] so that we are not to die 58 Other than our first death, and we shall not be punished? 59 This is indeed the mighty triumph, 60 and for the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of al-Zaqqum? 62 which We have made as a torment for the unjust? 63 Lo! it is a tree that springeth in the heart of hell. 64 Its spathes are like the prickly pear. 65 Truly they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 And thereafter verily their return is unto the Flaming Fire. 68 Surely they found their fathers going astray, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;- 71 though We had sent among them warners. 72 So behold what wise hath been the end of those who were warned. 73 Except the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah. 74
