۞ [And God will thus command:] "Assemble all those who were bent on evildoing, together with others of their ilk and [with] all that they were wont to worship 22 apart from Allah, and direct them to the path of Hell, 23 “And stop them they are to be questioned.” 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 Nay! on that day they shall be submissive. 26 They will turn to each other saying, 27 They say: Lo! ye used to come unto us, imposing, (swearing that ye spoke the truth). 28 They shall say: Nay, you (yourselves) were not believers; 29 "And we had no authority over you. Nay! But you were transgressing people (disobedient, polytheists, and disbelievers). 30 Now the Word of our Lord hath been fulfilled concerning us. Lo! we are about to taste (the doom). 31 So then, [if it be true that] we have caused you to err grievously - behold, we ourselves had been lost in grievous error!" 32 On that Day they will all share the punishment: 33 As such We shall deal with the evildoers. 34 Surely they used to behave proudly when it was said to them: There is no god but Allah; 35 And say: "What! shall we give up our gods for the sake of a Poet possessed?" 36 Rather, the Prophet has come with the truth and confirmed the [previous] messengers. 37 You shall certainly taste the painful punishment: 38 And be rewarded but only for what you had done, 39 But Allah's chosen servants (shall be spared this woeful end). 40 Those will have a provision determined - 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 in the Gardens of Delight, 43 upon couches, set face to face, 44 Round shall be passed a cup unto them filled with limpid drink: 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 They will have with them loving wives with big black and white eyes 48 so delicate as the hidden peel under an egg's shell. 49 Then they will advance unto each other, mutually questioning. 50 One of them says, 'I had a comrade 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 Can we, when we are dead and have become mere dust and bones - can we (then) verily be brought to book? 53 (A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down?" 54 Then looketh he and seeth him in the depth of hell. 55 He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 And had it not been for the favor of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought up. 57 Then, are we not to die 58 “Except our earlier death, and nor will we be punished?” 59 Truly, this is a great victory!" 60 For the like of this let the workers work. 61 Is that better as a hospitality, or the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum? 62 Verily We! We have made it a temptation for the wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows in the nethermost part of Hell. 64 Its fruit like the heads of demons. 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 then on top of it they have a brew of boiling water, 67 then their return is unto Hell. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 and they are running in their footsteps. 70 Thus, indeed, most of the people of old went astray before them, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 Then see how was the end of those warned, 73 Save the bondmen of Allah sincere. 74

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
