۞ “Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” – 22 apart from Allah, and direct them to the path of Hell, 23 And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." 24 What aileth you that ye succour not one another? 25 Nay, but that day they shall submit (to Judgment); 26 And they will approach one another blaming each other. 27 saying: 'You used to come to us from the right hand' 28 They shall say: Nay, you (yourselves) were not believers; 29 We had no power over you, but ye were wayward folk. 30 So on us hath been justified the sentence of our Lord: verily we are to taste. 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 So all of them on that day are sharers in the chastisement. 33 That is how We deal with sinners. 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 and replied, "Shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Most surely you will taste the painful punishment. 38 And you will be requited nothing except for what you used to do (evil deeds, sins, and Allah's disobedience which you used to do in this world); 39 But the sincere (and devoted) Servants of Allah,- 40 For them there will be a known provision (in Paradise). 41 Fruits; and they shall be honoured, 42 In gardens of delight, 43 On couches, facing one another. 44 Round will be passed to them a Cup from a clear-flowing fountain, 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 Wherein there is no headache nor are they made mad thereby. 47 And with them shall be those who restrain the eyes, having beautiful eyes; 48 (Pure) as they were hidden eggs (of the ostrich). 49 So one among them turns to the other, questioning. – 50 A speaker of them will say: "Verily, I had a companion (in the world), 51 Who used to say: "Are you among those who believe (in resurrection after death). 52 [that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?"' 53 He said: 'Will you look down?' 54 Then he will look downwards, and will see him in the depths of Hell. 55 He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56 But for the Favor of Allah I should have surely been among those who were arraigned (with you in Hell). 57 But then, [O my friends in paradise,] is it [really] so that we are not to die 58 Except for our first death, and we will not be punished?" 59 Surely this is the supreme triumph. 60 For the like of this let the workers [on earth] work. 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 For it is a tree that springs out of the bottom of Hell-Fire: 64 The fruit thereof is as though the hoods of the serpents. 65 on it they shall feed, and with it they shall fill their bellies. 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 then their return is unto Hell. 68 They had found their fathers astray, 69 So they (too) were rushed down on their footsteps! 70 yet before them most of the ancients went astray, 71 and We sent among them warners; 72 So behold what wise hath been the end of those who were warned. 73 Except the chosen slaves of Allah (faithful, obedient, and true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 74
