1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 other than Allah, and guide them to the Path of Hell! 23 And stop them; verily they are to be questioned: 24 [They will be asked], "What is [wrong] with you? Why do you not help each other?" 25 Nay! on that day they shall be submissive. 26 and advance one upon another, asking each other questions. 27 These say, 'Why, you of old would come to us from the right hand.' 28 They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!” 29 Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance! 30 "So now the Word of our Lord has been justified against us, that we shall certainly (have to) taste (the torment). 31 We seduced you astray; verily we were ourselves the seduced ones. 32 So, they will become partners in punishment. 33 Verily that is how We shall deal with Sinners. 34 They were those who, when it was said to them, "There is no god but God," behaved with insolence, 35 and replied, "Shall we then give up our deities at the bidding of a mad poet?" 36 In fact, he had brought them the truth and had acknowledged the Messengers (who were sent before him). 37 Verily, you (pagans of Makkah) are going to taste the painful torment; 38 and not be recompensed, except according to what you were doing.' 39 Save single-minded slaves of Allah; 40 Whose provision is predetermined -- 41 and fruits while they are honored. 42 in the Gardens of Bliss 43 On couches facing one another; 44 A cup from a gushing spring is brought round for them, 45 Clear, delicious to drink, 46 but not harmful or intoxicating. 47 And with them maidens of modest look and large lustrous eyes, 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 "Who used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)? 52 [that] after we have died and become mere dust and bones we shall, forsooth, be brought to judgment?"' 53 He shall say: Will you look on? 54 He looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire. 55 'By God', he said, 'you had almost ruined me. 56 If not for the favor of my Lord, I would have been of those brought in [to Hell]. 57 Are we then not to die 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 This is certainly the greatest triumph 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is this a better hospitality or the tree of AzZakkum! 62 which We have made as a test for the wrongdoers. 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 Its spathes are like the heads of satans. 65 And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. 66 And behold, above all this they will be confounded with burning despair! 67 And afterward, lo! their return is surely unto hell. 68 They had indeed found their forefathers astray. 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 Before them erred most of the ancients, 71 And We had sent admonishers to them. 72 Observe, then, what was the end of those that had been warned, 73 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 74
