۞ Gather together those who were unjust and their associates, and what they used to worship 22 apart from God, and guide them unto the path of Hell! 23 And halt them so that they may be questioned. 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 indeed, on that Day they will surrender themselves. 26 They will turn to each other saying, 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 Others will respond, "It was you who did not want to have any faith. 29 Moreover, we had no power at all over you: nay, you were people filled with overweening arrogance! 30 The statement of Our Lord is realized against us, and we are tasting it, 31 For we had led you astray. In fact we ourselves were astray." 32 Then verily, that Day, they will (all) share in the torment. 33 that is how We deal with evil-doers. 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 And (they) said: "Are we going to abandon our aliha (gods) for the sake of a mad poet? 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Now certainly you shall be tasting the painful chastisement, 38 But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;- 39 But the chosen servants of God; 40 For them is the sustenance known to Us. 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 in the Gardens of Bliss. 43 seated on couches, facing one another. 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 White, delicious to the drinkers, 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them will be mates of modest gaze, most beautiful of eye, 48 (Delicate and pure) as if they were (hidden) eggs (well) preserved. 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 The speaker among them said, “I had a companion.” – 51 who used to say: -- Are you also one of those who confirm the Truth (of life after death)? 52 After we are dead and have become all dust and bones shall we still be requited?' 53 Do you want to see him?' " 54 Then he will look downwards, and will see him in the depths of Hell. 55 He will say, "By God! You almost brought me to ruin! 56 for had it not been for my Sustainer's favour, I would surely be [now] among those who are given over [to suffering]! 57 Is it then that we are not going to die, 58 “Except our earlier death, and nor will we be punished?” 59 Indeed, this is the mighty victory, 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 We have made this tree a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 its spathes are like the heads of satans 65 Truly, they will eat thereof and fill their bellies therewith. 66 Then they will have on top of it a mixture of boiling water. 67 then surely they shall return to Hell. 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 But they make haste (to follow) in their footsteps. 70 And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them; 71 We had certainly sent warners to them. 72 Therefore see what sort of fate befell those who were warned! 73 Other than the chosen creatures of God. 74
