1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 apart from God, and guide them unto the path of Hell! 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 What aileth you that ye help not one another? 25 Nay, but that Day they shall surrender, 26 And they will advance toward each other mutually questioning. 27 They will say, "Indeed, you used to come at us from the right." 28 They will answer, “You yourselves did not have faith!” 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 For we had led you astray. In fact we ourselves were astray." 32 Truly, that Day, they will (all) share in the Penalty. 33 Verily We! in this wise We deal with the culprits. 34 They were those who, when it was said to them, "There is no god but God," behaved with insolence, 35 And were saying, "Are we to leave our gods for a mad poet?" 36 (They say so although) he brought the Truth and confirmed the veracity of the Messengers. 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 But it will be no more than the retribution of (the Evil) that ye have wrought;- 39 But the sincere servants of God 40 will have their determined sustenance 41 Fruits; and they will be honored 42 In gardens of pleasure, 43 On thrones facing one another. 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 No bad effect is there in it, nor from it will they be intoxicated. 47 Theirs shall be wide-eyed maidens with bashful, restrained glances, 48 who are as chaste as sheltered eggs. 49 Then one turned to the other in an enquiry. 50 And a speaker from among them will say: verily there was unto me a mate. 51 "Who used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)? 52 That when we have died and become dust and bones, we will indeed be recompensed?'" 53 Allah will say: will ye look down? 54 Then he looks, and sees him in the midst of Hell. 55 He will say to him: -- By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 “So are we never to die?” (The people of Paradise will ask the angels, with delight, after the announcement of everlasting life.) 58 except for our first death? And shall we suffer no chastisement?'” 59 This is indeed the mighty triumph, 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 So is this welcome better, or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 We have indeed made that a punishment for the unjust. 63 Verily it is a tree that springeth forth in the bottom of Flaming Fire. 64 its fruit [as repulsive] as satans' heads; 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 And afterward, lo! thereupon they have a drink of boiling water 67 And afterward, lo! their return is surely unto hell. 68 Truly they found their fathers on the wrong Path; 69 and rushed to follow them. 70 Most of the ancient people had also gone astray. 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 See then the end of those who were warned, 73 Only Our sincere servants were saved. 74
