3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning), 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord, with a sound heart. (Free from falsehood). 84 Behold! he said to his father and to his people, "What is that which ye worship? 85 Is it a calumny, gods apart from God, that you desire? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 And [one day,] when [the child] had become old enough to share in his [father's] endeavours, the latter said: "O my dear son! I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice thee: consider, then, what would be thy view!" [Ishmael] answered: "O my father! Do as thou art bidden: thou wilt find me, if God so wills, among those who are patient in adversity!" 102 And when they had both submitted, and his son had laid down prostrate upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 We blessed him and Isaac: but of their progeny are (some) that do right, and (some) that obviously do wrong, to their own souls. 113
