3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And We made his offspring the survivors. 77 We perpetuated his praise in later generations. 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 when he turned to his Sustainer with a heart free of evil, 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Do you want to worship false idols as your lords besides God? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then he looked at the stars, looking up once, 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 while it is Allah Who has created you and all that you make?” 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 And when he reached with him [the age of] exertion, he said, "O my son, indeed I have seen in a dream that I [must] sacrifice you, so see what you think." He said, "O my father, do as you are commanded. You will find me, if Allah wills, of the steadfast." 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 you have fulfilled what you were commanded to do in your dream." Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 and We preserved for him a good name among posterity. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 And We showered Our blessings on him and on Ishaq; and of their offspring are the doers of good, and (also) those who are clearly unjust to their own souls. 113
