Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And assuredly Nuh cried unto us; and We are the Best of answerers! 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Verily, thus do We reward the doers of good 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 A lie-- gods besides Allah-- do you desire? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars, 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 So they turned away from him, and departed. 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 When they both agreed and Abraham had lain down his son on the side of his face (for slaughtering), 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the good. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 We gave Abraham the good news of Isaac, a prophet and a righteous man, 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
