3/4 Hizb 45

And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning), 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds? 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said: "Worship ye that which ye have (yourselves) carved? 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am going to my Lord. He will guide me!" 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the dream (vision)!" Verily! Thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 105 This is indeed the manifest trial.' 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 108 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 109 Thus do We reward the good. 110 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. 111 And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
