3/4 Hizb 45

And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning), 76 and caused his offspring to endure [on earth]; 77 And left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Then We drowned the other (disbelievers and polytheists, etc.). 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 "Behold!" he said to his father and to his people, "What are these that you worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 And he said: verily I am about to be sick. 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said: 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 And he turned upon them a blow with [his] right hand. 93 His people came rushing towards him, 94 He said: worship ye that which ye carve. 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 And he said, “Indeed I shall go to my Lord Who will guide me.” 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 (In response to this prayer) We gave him the good news of a prudent boy; 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 And We called out to him, “O Ibrahim!” 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 Indeed this was a clear test. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. But among their descendants is the doer of good and the clearly unjust to himself. 113
