3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 78 Peace be unto Noah among the peoples! 79 Thus do We reward the righteous ones. 80 he was truly one of Our faithful servants. 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 and asked his father and his people, "What is that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 Then what is your thought about the Lord of the worlds?" 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 and he said, 'Surely I am sick.' 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 the while it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 Wherefore We gave him the glad tidings of a boy gentle. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We left for him among the posterity: 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him good tidings of Isaac, a prophet from among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
