3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah verily prayed unto Us, and gracious was the Hearer of his prayer 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the peoples! 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 He was one of Our believing servants. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What aileth ye that ye speak not? 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said, "Do you worship that which you [yourselves] carve, 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 and when he had reached the age of running with him, he said, 'My son, I see in a dream that I shall sacrifice thee; consider, what thinkest thou?' He said, 'My father, do as thou art bidden; thou shalt find me, God willing, one of the steadfast.' 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We called to him, "O Abraham, 104 You have indeed shown the truth of the vision; surely thus do We reward the doers of good: 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 110 For he was one of our believing Servants. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
