Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And Nuh did certainly call upon Us, and most excellent answerer of prayer are We. 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 and We established for him a good name among posterity. 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 And he said: "Verily, I am sick (with plague. He did this trick to remain in their temple of idols to destroy them and not to accompany them to the pagan's feast)." 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then he turned to their gods, and said, 'What do you eat? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 Then the people came toward him, hastening. 94 He said: worship ye that which ye carve. 95 When Allah hath created you and what ye make? 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son." 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 Then when the twain had submitted themselves and he had prostrated him upon his temple. 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 truly, he was one of Our faithful servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
