3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 and We established for him a good name among posterity. 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Of his party was also Abraham; 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 Why do you solicit false gods instead of God? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And said: "I am sick (of what you worship)!" 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 What is wrong with you that you do not speak?" 92 He then began striking them with his right hand, unseen by the people. 93 [But] then the others came towards him hurriedly [and accused him of his deed]. 94 He said, 'Do you serve what you hew, 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy, possessing forbearance. 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 For this was obviously a trial- 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 'Peace be upon Abraham' 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113
