3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had called upon Us (earlier). See, how excellent We were in answering him! 75 And We saved him and his household from the great distress, 76 And, his progeny, them We made the survivors (i.e. Shem, Ham and Japheth). 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 Peace be on Nuh among the worlds. 79 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 he came to his Lord with a sound heart. 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 “So what do you assume regarding the Lord Of The Creation?” (That He will not punish you?) 87 Then he looked carefully at the stars 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said, “What! You worship what you yourselves have sculpted?” 95 "But Allah has created you and your handwork!" 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 So they tried to execute their evil scheme upon him We therefore degraded them. (Allah saved him, by commanding the fire to turn cool). 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 you have indeed fulfilled your dream. Thus do We reward the good-doers.” 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 "Peace and salutation to Abraham!" 109 Thus do We reward the good. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 Then We gave him the good tidings of Isaac, a Prophet, one of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
