3/4 Hizb 45

Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response! 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 and We made his seed the survivors, 77 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 Recall what time he said unto his father and his people: What is it that ye worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 And he said, "I am indeed sick (at heart)!" 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He answered: "Do you worship something that you [yourselves] have carved, 95 even though God created both you and that which you have made?" 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 But whereas they sought to do evil unto him, We [frustrated their designs, and thus] brought them low? 98 And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 So We gave him good tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 thou hast already fulfilled [the purpose of] that dream-vision!" Thus, verily, do We reward the doers of good: 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 That is how We recompense the righteous: 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [destined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves. 113
