3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And, his progeny, them We made the survivors (i.e. Shem, Ham and Japheth). 77 And left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 78 Peace be upon Noah among all the nations. 79 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 80 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 81 [and so We saved him and those who followed him] and then We caused the others to drown. 82 ۞ Abraham was on the self-same way (as Noah). 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 So turning their backs, they went away from him. 90 Then he went quietly to the (temple of the deities) and said: “What is the matter with you, why do you not eat? 91 "What is the matter with you that ye speak not (intelligently)?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the raging fire." 97 And they devised a plot for him, but We made them the humble. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 Most surely this is a manifest trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaq, a Herald of the Hidden, from among those who deserve Our proximity. 112 and blessed him and Isaac too: some of their offspring were good, but some clearly sinned against their souls. 113
