3/4 Hizb 45

Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response! 75 We saved him and his people from great distress, 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 As such We recompense the gooddoers, 80 he was one of Our believing worshipers. 81 Thereafter We caused the others to be drowned. 82 ۞ Abraham was of the same faith: 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 All the people turned away from him 90 Thereupon he approached their gods stealthily and said, "What! You do not eat [of the offerings placed before you]? 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 Said he: What! do you worship what you hew out? 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said: Build for him a building and fling him in the red-hotfire. 97 So they contrived a plot against him, but We made them abject. 98 He said, 'I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 We gave him the good news that he would have a patient, forbearing son. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 When they had both submitted to God, and he had laid his son down on his face, 103 We cried unto him: O Ibrahim 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 and left for him among the later folk 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 And we gave him tidings of the birth of Isaac, a prophet of the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
