3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer. 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 We left mention of him among later generations. 78 Peace and salutation to Nuh among the nations. 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 He turned to his Lord with a sound heart 84 When he said to his father and his people: "What is this you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 "Then what do you think about the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns, and all that exists)?" 87 And he glanced a glance at the stars 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their aliha (gods) and said: "Will you not eat (of the offering before you)? 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They said, 'Build him a building, and cast him into the furnace!' 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 He said: 'I will go to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 "My Lord! Grant me (offspring) from the righteous." 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 So when they had both submitted their wills (to Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (for sacrifice), 103 We called to him, saying: 'O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 He was one of Our believing worshipers. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We sent blessings upon him and Ishaq; and among their descendants some who do good deeds, and some who clearly wrong themselves. 113

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
