Al-Saaffaat 3 of 5
And indeed, [it was for this reason that] Noah cried unto Us - and how excellent was Our response: 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 and We made his offspring the only survivors. 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 Thus do We reward all those who do good. 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Afterwards We drowned the others. 82 ۞ And indeed Ibrahim is from his (Nooh’s) group. 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 Do you want [to bow down before] a lie - [before] deities other than God? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds' 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 But they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 And (his people) came toward him, hastening. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 [And he prayed:] "O my Sustainer! Bestow upon me the gift of [a son who shall be] one of the righteous!" 100 So We gave him the glad tidings of a forbearing boy. 101 and when he was old enough to go about and work with him, (one day) Abraham said to him: “My son, I see in my dream that I am slaughtering you. So consider (and tell me) what you think.” He said: “Do as you are bidden. You will find me, if Allah so wills, among the steadfast.” 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 We cried out: “O Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 It was certainly an open trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a momentous sacrifice: 107 And We perpetuated (praise) to him among the later generations. 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And [in time] We gave him the glad tiding of Isaac, [who, too, would be] a prophet, one of the righteous; 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
