And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 80 For he was one of our believing Servants. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 Do you want to worship false idols as your lords besides God? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 Then he glanced a glance on the stars. 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 "Why do you worship these you carve yourselves," he asked, 95 "When God has created you and what you make?" 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 They wanted to harm him, but We humiliated them all. 98 And he said: Lo! I am going unto my Lord Who will guide me. 99 My Lord! Vouchsafe me of the righteous. 100 whereupon We gave him the glad tiding of a boy-child gentle [like himself]? 101 When his son was old enough to work with him, he said, "My son, I have had a dream that I must sacrifice you. What do you think of this?" He replied, "Father, fulfill whatever you are commanded to do and you will find me patient, by the will of God". 102 When both surrendered (to Allah's command) and Abraham flung the son down on his forehead, 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 Thou hast already fulfilled the vision. Lo! thus do We reward the good. 105 That was indeed a trying test. 106 And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. a ram); 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 Peace be on Abraham. 109 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 We blessed him and Ishaque (Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly wrong themselves. 113
