Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 And We saved him and his family from the great affliction. 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 Then afterwards We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 Then he looked at the stars, looking up once, 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 So they departed from him turning their backs. 90 Then he turned towards their gods and said: "Why do you not eat (of these offerings)? 91 What is the matter with you that you do not speak? 92 Then he slipped unto them striking them with the right hand. 93 Thereafter they (the people) came to him in haste. 94 but he said, "How can you worship things you carve with your own hands, 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 (Abraham) said, "I will go to my Lord who will guide me". 99 Lord, grant me a righteous son.” 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 Indeed this was a clear test. 106 Then We ransomed him with a tremendous victim. 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 We gave him the glad news of the birth of Isaac, one of the righteous Prophets. 112 and We blessed him and Isaac, and from their offspring are some gooddoers, and others who clearly wronged themselves. 113
